1. Controller
The controller of your personal data is SIA "AutoPunkts", registration No. 40000000000, address: Lielā iela 50, Saldus. For any questions about personal data, contact info@autopunkts.lv, phone +371 20 000 000.
2. What data we process
- Information entered in the contact form: your name, phone or email and the message.
- Information you provide yourself when contacting us by phone or email.
- Technical data (IP address, browser type) required for the operation and security of the website, kept in server logs for a limited time.
- Anonymised visit statistics (see section 7): the page visited, language, device type (mobile or desktop), type of source (e.g. Google or Facebook) and clicks on the phone number, email or contact form.
3. Purposes and legal basis
- Answering your questions and requests — your consent and steps prior to entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(a) and (b)).
- Providing services and invoicing — performance of a contract and compliance with legal obligations (GDPR Article 6(1)(b) and (c)).
- Website security — our legitimate interests (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
- Aggregated visit statistics to improve the website — our legitimate interests (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
4. Retention
We keep communication data for no longer than 12 months after the last contact unless the law requires longer retention (e.g. accounting records).
Individual statistics events are deleted after 90 days; after that only daily totals (such as the number of visitors) are kept, which contain no personal data.
5. Recipients
We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing. Data may only be shared with our technical service providers (website hosting) acting on our behalf, and with public authorities where required by law.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify or erase your data, restrict processing, object to processing and withdraw consent at any time by writing to info@autopunkts.lv. If you believe your rights have been violated, you may lodge a complaint with the Data State Inspectorate of Latvia (www.dvi.gov.lv).
7. Cookies
This website does not use cookies — no advertising, tracking or other cookies — and stores nothing in your browser, so no consent is required.
Cookieless visit statistics. To understand how many people visit the website, we use the statistics built into the website platform, which use no cookies and store nothing in your browser. Your IP address and full browser details are not stored: they are turned into a one-way code that is valid for one day only (its key is replaced every day and the old one deleted), so neither we nor anyone else can identify you, and visits cannot be linked across days or other websites. We only use the statistics in aggregated form and do not share them with third parties.
The map in the contact section is loaded from Google Maps only after you click it. Google may then use its own cookies in accordance with the Google privacy policy.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is always available on this page.
